【摘要】:ThisPartofBS5760givesguidanceontheassessmentofreliabilityofsystemscontainingsoftwarewithrespecttothosefailuresthatareduetotheactivationundercertainenvironmentalcircumstancesoflatentdesignfaultslocatedinsoftwareitems.NOTE.Latentsoftwaredesignfaultsareduetohumanerrorduringthedefinition,designanddevelopmentphasesofsystemproduction.Guidanceisprovidedontheassessmentofsystemreliabilitybothbyassessmentoftheproduct(thesoftware)andbyassessmentoftheprocess(themeansbywhichthesoftwareisdeveloped).Thisguidanceappliestoanysystemcontainingsoftwareregardlessofitsintendedfunction.Therearelimitstothelevelofreliabilitythatcanbeassessedquantitatively.ThisPartofBS5760seekstoclassifysomeofthemoreestablishedmethodsandtoprovideguidancetothepractitionerinapplyingthem.AbibliographyisprovidedinannexD.
