【摘要】:1GeneralThisInternationalStandarddescribesthegeneralprinciplesofdeterminingiceloadonstructuresofthetypeslistedin1.2.Incaseswhereacertainstructureisnotdirectlycoveredbythisoranotherstandardorrecommendation,designersmayusetheintentionsofthisInternationalStandard.However,theusershouldalwaysconsidercarefullytheapplicabilityofthestandard(recommendation)tothestructureinquestion.ThepracticaluseofalldatainthisInternationalStandardisbaseduponcertainknowledgeofthesiteofthestructure.Itisnecessarytohaveinformationaboutthedegreeof"normal"icingamounts(=iceclasses)forthesiteinquestion.Formanyareas,however,noinformationisavailable.EveninsuchcasesthisInternationalStandardcanbeuseful,becauselocalmeteorologistsorotherexperiencedpersonsshouldbeableto,onthesafeside,estimateapropericeclass.Usingsuchanestimateinthestructuraldesignwillresultinamuchsaferstructure,thandesigningwithoutanyconsiderationsforproblemsduetoice.CAUTIONItisextremelyimportanttodesignforsomeiceinsteadofnoice,andthenthequestionofwhethertheamountoficewascorrectisoflessimportance.Inparticular,theactionofwindcanbeincreasedconsiderablyduetobothincreasedexposedareaandincreaseddragcoefficient.2ApplicationThisInternationalStandardisintendedforuseindeterminingicemassandwindloadontheicedstructureforthefollowingtypesofstructure:—masts;—towers;—antennasandantennastructures;—cables,stays,guyropes,etc.;—ropeways(cablerailways);—structuresforski-lifts;—buildingsorpartsofthemexposedtopotentialicing;—towersforspecialtypesofconstructionsuchastransmissionlines,windturbines,etc.AtmosphericicingonelectricaloverheadlinesiscoveredbyIEC(InternationalElectrotechnicalCommission)standards.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithISO2394.NOTESometypicaltypesofstructurearementioned,butothertypesmightbeconsideredalso.Designersshouldthinkintermsofwhichtypeofstructureissensitivetounforeseenice,andactthereafter.Also,inmanycasesonlypartsofstructuresshouldbedesignedforiceloads,becausetheyaremorevulnerabletounforeseenicethanisthewholestructure.EvenifelectricaloverheadlinesarecoveredbyIECstandards,designersmayusethisInternationalStandardforthemaststructurestooverheadlines(whicharenotcoveredbyIECstandards)iftheysowish.
